Beginner Disc Golf Bag

You do not need twenty molds to start. A small, intentional bag teaches control faster than a crowded trunk.

Starter kit (3–5 discs)

Slot Why
Putter (1–2) Putting + short approaches. Many players keep a soft putter for the green and a firmer one for upshots.
Midrange (1–2) Your workhorse for 150–250 ft (distances vary by arm speed). Learn release angles here.
Fairway / control driver (1) Longer holes without jumping straight to max-speed distance drivers.

Optional fifth disc: a slightly understable mid or fairway for turnover practice—or a dedicated approach disc if your putter isn’t comfortable off the tee.

Packing checklist

Buying without hype

Shop local disc golf stores or club tables when you can—try plastics in hand. Online is fine if you know the mold and plastic. We keep partner slots empty until real affiliates exist; no fake “buy now” links.
