Universal disc flight path chart

Browse a best-effort catalog of PDGA-approved molds and draw an illustrative flight path from manufacturer-published SPEED · GLIDE · TURN · FADE. Not a measured throw. PDGA approval is not a flight path.

Catalog: 2,681 molds · 1,988 with numbers · 693 numbers unavailable · PDGA rows 2,427 · data snapshot 2026-09-13T19:17:38Z

Illustrative path from manufacturer flight numbers — not a measured throw. Numbers vary by plastic, weight, wear, and thrower. Always check the stamp and the manufacturer page for the mold in your hand. Disc data by Try Discs. Mold list from the PDGA approved discs CSV.

Illustrative path from manufacturer flight numbers — not a measured throw. Axis units are a teaching proxy, not feet or meters.

How this chart works

  1. Distance proxy from SPEED (boosted slightly by GLIDE): higher speed draws a longer path up the chart.
  2. Early turn from TURN: more negative turn bends the mid-flight to the right for a right-hand backhand (RHBH) flat release.
  3. Late fade from FADE: higher fade hooks the finish left (RHBH).
  4. Release toggle: hyzer biases the whole line left; anhyzer biases it right — a simple teaching offset, not a physics sim.

Stability buckets use TURN + FADE: understable ≤ −1, stable < 2, overstable ≥ 2. Type buckets use SPEED (putter ≤3, mid ≤5, fairway ≤8, else distance) when numbers exist; otherwise a rough rim-thickness hint from PDGA physical data may apply.
